Master Allen Deittrick

TaeKwonDo Master and World TaeKwonDo International Referee

Master Allen started his TaeKwonDo training while serving in the U.S. Airforce. He studied in Korea under a Korean Moo Duk Kwan Master.

Moo Duk Kwan is the trademarked name of a martial art organization founded by Hwang Kee in Korea in 1945. Licensed Moo Duk Kwan schools teach Soo Bahk Do, formerly Tang Soo Do(and earlier 'Hwa Soo Do'). 'Moo Duk Kwan' translates as "School of Martial Virtue". After serving in Korea Master Allen was stationed in Thailand where he continued his study of TaeKwonDo.

Upon returning to the United States Master Allen resumed his studies in Las Vegas with Grand Master Jin Sun Kim. Master Kim passed several years later.

If you do nothing, that is exactly

what you will get -- nothing.

If you do something, the possibilities are endless.

Excellence is never an accident.

It is always the result of high intentions,

sincere effort and intelligent execution.

WHAT DO WE TEACH?

Isshinryu is a straight forward fighting system utilizing the entire body to effectively and quickly end a physical conflict. We go back to the roots of karate, before it was changed into mere sport. Katas which were specially selected by Master Shimabuku are taught. Performing these katas teachs footwork, balance, power and a wide variety of tactical maneuvers adaptable to the fluid and changing conditions of many self-defense situations.
